Printer Status:
Godex printers have LED indicators and beep signals to indicate a problem. Depending on the problem, you will get different error alerts.
The printer is in standby mode – This could be because the ribbon has been used up or because the sensor cannot detect a gap or black mark between labels. Please check the sensor setting in the printer setup.
The printer can’t find a spool or ribbon – Check the ribbon roll to ensure it has been installed correctly. If it is not, please run the label size calibration function (See Section 3-2) and the self-test page.
User Command – The “User Command” tab provides an interface for the operator to send commands to the printer via an Ethernet port. The commands can be inputted in the dialog box and sent by pressing the “Send Command” button. NiceLabel driver will then report the status of the commands to you. If the command will return a response message to you, you can also see it in the “User Command” dialog box.
