Canon TS5120 Driver – How to Fix a Canon Printer That Stops Working?
Canon printers are renowned for their image quality, functionality, and ease of use. However, there are times when your Canon printer stops working. Fortunately, there are a few steps you can take to fix the problem.
Download Canon TS5120 Driver (Here)
First, turn off the printer and disconnect the USB cable. Then, open the System Preferences menu and choose the “Devices and Printers” option.
Printing:
The Canon TS5120 is a small all-in-one printer with an attractive design and an emphasis on connectivity. Its compact body measures 16.8 by 12.5 inches and weighs 14.3 pounds, making it easy to carry. It can print from a USB or from a wireless network. It also includes a duplexer for two-sided printing.
The printer can also print in high resolution with a maximum resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi for sharp documents and vivid photos. The FINE Hybrid Ink System is another great feature, delivering an average of 13 images per minute (ipm) for black printing and 6.8 ipm for color.
Moreover, it is a highly connected device that supports the Canon PRINT app and Apple AirPrint, among others. It can even scan and copy documents using its 8.5-inch flatbed with an optical resolution of up to 1200 dpi.
Scanner:
The TS5120’s scanning capabilities are impressive. It can scan documents up to 8.5 x 11.7 “flatbed and has an optical resolution of 1200 x 2400 dpi. It can also handle various file formats and offers support for cloud printing and Apple AirPrint.
The TS5120’s print speed is also faster than average. It printed our high-resolution test image in 4 minutes and 3 seconds, which is almost a minute faster than the average. It also printed a 4-by-6-inch photo in 1 minute and 2 seconds at standard settings. Moreover, it can print using Wi-Fi, AirPrint, Google Cloud Print, or USB. It’s also compatible with XL ink cartridges, which can help you save money and increase the time between ink cartridge replacements. This is important if you print a lot of documents and photos.
Fax:
Canon’s TS5120 is an inexpensive home all-in-one printer with a flatbed scanner and front and rear paper feeders. It offers excellent print quality, especially for text documents. It also has Wi-Fi and Ethernet connectivity, and it works with both Android and Apple devices. Its fax capabilities are limited, however.
To scan a document or photo with your Canon all-in-one, first, open the IJ scanning utility (it has an icon that resembles a document next to a scanner). Then, insert your document or photo into the flatbed scanner and align it with the guides on the side. Finally, close the scanner lid.
Downloading drivers manually from the manufacturer’s website can be tedious and time-consuming. If you don’t have the patience or tech skills, Driver Easy can do it for you.
Wireless connectivity:
Canon has a long history of developing imaging and printing technology for consumers, small businesses, and global enterprises. Its products are known for their quality, durability, and support for multiple operating systems. In addition, the company has a wide range of printer models to suit every need.
The compact PIXMA TS5120 is an all-in-one printer that features Bluetooth 4.0 LE and Wi-Fi for direct connectivity with smart devices. It has a resolution of 4800 x 1200 dpi for sharp documents and photos, and the FINE Hybrid Ink System enables vivid colors. The TS5120 also supports optional XL cartridges to help save money, print more when you need it, and extend the time between ink cartridge replacements. The printer also supports USB for easy connection to the computer.
Ink cartridges:
If a compatible ink or toner cartridge hasn’t been inserted properly, it won’t be recognized by the printer. Simply lift the cartridge cover again and double-check that the correct color has been inserted into its respective slot. It also helps to make sure the cartridge is firmly clicked in.
Alternatively, it may be worth checking that your printer firmware is up to date. Firmware updates can sometimes stop refilled or remanufactured cartridges from being recognized by the printer, displaying messages such as ‘Cartridge not recognized’.
If this is the case, try holding down the cancel button on your printer for five seconds. This will signal to the printer that you’re aware of this low or empty cartridge estimate but would like to continue printing anyway.
